The Official Bull Skit Biography

(Click here to read an article about us in the Salem News !)

In 1997, some friends started a band called The Pillow Cases. Soon after, the band filtered and dwindled to three members:
Lee Boyle, a borderline mental case with food on his face; Lee’s brother, Jack, a 50-year-old man trapped in a younger man’s body; their friend, Pepe, a Mexican potato. They called it Third Class. Then, their friend, a Butterball Turkey with a backwards Browns hat named Craig Beight, decided to start a small, sloppily-made skit organization called Pepleecraig Productions with Pepe and Lee. This set of skits, which is a small collection of worn-out videotapes recorded with a now out-of-date camcorder, included Billy James, an avid Slipknot enthusiast with no eyebrows; Steve Boyle, Lee’s other, less-significant, tall, brother who can’t rock out but can simply do pop-music style moves whenever a face-melting solo is on the radio; Jonathan Palo, a mob-movie enthusiast, formerly the guitarist of Tom Peppy and the Heartbreakers, and Derek Baker, an uncanny look-alike of the hairy chick from the movie “The Ring”.

In 2002, most of these characters graduated from high school in East Palestine or Columbiana and started pursuing jobs and/or college degrees. During that time, a kid named Brandon Hull rolled out of the woods of Negley, Ohio with nothing but a pair of trendy jeans and an indecipherable nationality and began, with Steve Boyle, what is known as The Renaissance Period of comedy skits. Yes, it was none other than the beginning of Bull Skit Productions! Soon, all of Steve and Brandon’s friends were volunteering different ideas for skits. Then Steve started maintaining a website called www.bullskitproductions.envy.nu, and the Bull Skit myspace profile, www.myspace.com/bullskitproductions. But, the icing on the cake was when Craig Beight purchased the official website, www.bullskit.com. Now people are able to come to this site and view the whole collection of Bull Skits. Whether it is a quick laugh between chores, an after-school entertainment, or if you just want to watch it while drilling holes in your corneas, Bull Skit Productions has a taste for people from all walks of life!

To this day, the members of Bull Skit Productions are always on the go with ideas for skits or any other projects they may be having fun with. Craig is pursuing his Master’s Degree in Applied Anatomy in Cleveland, while Billy is working a job in Art Therapy in Columbus and writing and performing music in his band, Jacob or Logan, with an album entitled “This Is Where I Go When I Die.” Lee, Jack and Pepe are still writing and performing music in their band, Third Class, which has played numerous shows as well as nationally released a full-length album entitled “Chloe’s Epitaph is Chloe”, available on iTunes, Napster, CDbaby and Digstation websites. Otherwise, Pepe is managing at Aladdin’s Eatery in Youngstown while pursuing a Bachelor’s in Art, and Lee and Jack are both pursuing English Bachelor’s Degrees. Derek Baker works at The Beaver County Medical Center and lives in Brighton, PA where he also is a father to his daughter, Bridgett. Brandon is pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Mass Communication and is also a full-time air guitarist. Steve, when not working with Bull Skit, can be found writing songs and doing a good number of live performances in his band, Steve Boyle, formerly known as Eli Funk.
